About This

The 14 Day Ultimate Guatemala Adventure Tour is for the rider who not only has a passion for adventure, but also for exploring other cultures. This tour circumnavigates Guatemala and takes you through all the most amazing and historic landmarks. We’ll travel a mix of pavement and dirt, wind up and down through mountains, around volcanoes, across valleys and rivers, and even ride down the beach! On this tour you will see Semuc Champey, Tikal, Lake Atitlan, Rio Dulce, and many more exciting locations.

We will meet at our shop where we will familiarize you with your bike and have a briefing about the tour. We’ll then go on a Cultural ride in the foothills and villages surrounding Antigua. We’ll have nice volcano views and get adjusted the bikes.

The rest of the afternoon will be yours to wander the beautiful cobblestone streets of Antigua. We will help you get local currency today if needed.

Day 3

North to the Mountains

After a hearty breakfast we’ll continue North and drop huge elevation into the lowlands of Guatemala. The temperatures will raise and the scenery will become more lush. We’ll load the bikes onto a make-shift barge to cross river Sayaxche. Once across we’ll run some exciting two lane roads to the Island of Flores, where we stay for the night.

We’ll hug the coast of Lake Isabal on a mix of pavement and gravel roads. When we reach the end of the lake the road begins to narrow as it winds us up the mountains of Altaverapaz. Today will be mostly dirt riding and an incredible thrill. The roads are very twisty with great vistas from all the mountain peaks. Tonight we will again stay in a nice Jungle lodge and relax by the river..
